Volunteer Opportunities
There are countless ways to help Folsom Softball Club.  Everything from being a Board member, coach or assistant coach, team parent, scorekeeper, or snack bar volunteer, is available and needed. If you choose to volunteer you time in one of these capacities – thank you!  If you’re unable to help out, we also have a Volunteer Opt-out option in registration.

Sponsorship Opportunities
We have many generous sponsors that donate money to sponsor teams, which helps defray the costs involved in this league. But we can always use more sponsors. Whether it is time or money, your help is very much needed and appreciated. Please contact us if you would like more information.

Uniforms
The uniform package includes one jersey, one visor, and one pair of socks.  The front of the jersey will have the Folsom Fastpitch logo and team name.  The back of the jersey will have the player's last name, number and team sponsor.  All players must purchase NAVY pants separately. Navy pants will be available at several Folsom sporting good stores. Players are required to wear the league-issued uniform. Crazy socks are an option for teams, but they must be purchased separately.

When you register online you will need to select:
Jersey size:   Youth S (Youth Small), Youth M (Youth Medium), Youth L (Youth Large), Youth XL, Adult S (Adult Small), Adult M (Adult Medium), Adult L (Adult Large), Adult XL (Adult X-Large)
Visor size:Youth or Adult
Sock size:Small (kid's shoe 1-3; woman's shoe 4-5), Medium (kid's shoe 3-7; woman's shoe 5-9) or Large (woman's shoe 9-12)

Games, Games, Games
We will offer a minimum of 14 season games, plus one or more playoff games during the End of Season Tournament.  Divisions with 5 or more teams will play in Folsom.  Due to the limited number of teams in the older divisions, there will be games scheduled with neighboring leagues.  This may require a limited amount of local travel.

Umpires
We will continue to build our junior ASA umpire program this year (6th grade and older).  Experienced ASA umpires will train our junior umpires, as well as umpire games for the older divisions. Our umpires continue to improve each season based on the coaches’ feedback.

Registration Cost
For 2018, the registration fee will be $180.  We are offering an early bird discount of $10 and an additional sibling discount of $10.

Eligibility
Players must live or go to school in Folsom to play on a Folsom Softball Club Recreational team.

Non-Resident Fee

The City of Folsom imposes a $15 non-resident fee to those that do not live or own property in the city of Folsom. *For example: this applies when a player lives in another city but goes to school in Folsom

Refund Policy
If you find you cannot play after registering, we will offer the following refund policy. You will receive a 100% refund up to February 6th.  From February 6 through March 1, a 50% refund will be offered. No refunds will be offered after March 1st.

Financial Help
If you need financial assistance, please contact President@folsomsoftballclub.com. Along with assistance from the Folsom Athletic Association (FAA), we have budget to assist those that need it, so if a child wants to play softball in Folsom, cost will not be a barrier. In turn, we ask that recipients commit volunteer hours to the league.
